William Elliott enlisted January, 1862, Co. C, 15th W. V. I., and was with Sherman on the famous "March to the Sea", and through the Carolinas. He is married and carries on his father's farm; has been Supervisor and is now serving a second term as Town Treasurer.

Charles Finley

Finley spent three years in the Union army, enlisting in August, 1862, in Co. G, 28th W. V. I.; he was engaged in the battles of Helena, Pine Bluff, Saline River, and Little Rock, Ark., and in the fiery siege of the forts around Mobile; the regiment was transferred to Texas; Mr. Finley was confined in the Marine Hospital, at New Orleans; was honorably discharged in July, 1865.

Frederick Pellmann

Born in 1841 in Germany and came to the United States at the age of 5 with his parents, Carl Lubrecht and Johanna Ludwig Pellmann. He grew up on the family farm in Muskego and at the age of 23 enlisted in the Union Army. He was assigned to the 48th Wisconsin Infantry, Company C. It was late in the war, and his regiment did not see active duty but was instead sent to Colorado to escort trains and mail through hostile Indian country.

Lars Rolfson

Engebret Rolfson and wife Isabell came from Norway in 1849 with five children - Robert, Lars (who later in life served in the Civil War - 15th volunteer Wisconsin), Brady, Maria and Andrew on the Vesta docking in New York. Two more boys were born to them in the states - Martin and Edward. Brady B:1843 married Martha nee Anderson with a son Alfred B:?. Alfred married Mathilda Bucholtz in 1916 and had three children - Verna, Geralda and Delmer. The Rolfsons settled in Muskego, WI, near Lake Denoon.
